The ICC is a registered not for profit company in London, England, founded by Joseph O'Connor and Andrea Lages in 2001.
The ICC uses the Lambent International Certification Coaching Training. This training was awarded a European Quality Award (EQA) in 2010 by the European Coaching and Mentoring Council (EMCC).
It therefore also meets the requirements of the International Coach Federation (ICF) ACC Portfolio path. It is the only training in the world recognised by the EMCC, the ICF and the ICC.

ANDREA LAGES is one of the most respected coaching trainers in the world. She is co-founder of the ICC, an internationally certified NLP trainer, consultant, business trainer and executive coach. Living in Sao Paulo, Brazil, she works internationally doing NLP certification courses, international Coaching certification trainings, and seminars on communication skills, systemic thinking, leadership, and goal setting, with individuals and teams.
She has worked in Mexico, Spain, Poland, Denmark, Malta, Brazil and the UK. She speaks English, Spanish and Portuguese fluently and does trainings in all three languages.
Through her consultancy, Andrea designs and runs management development, training, coaching, customer service training, team building, applying NLP and Systemic thinking in practical ways within organizations.
Her clients include Certisign (Verisign - Brasil), Virtual Case, Procci, Secretary of development of Rio de Janeiro.
Joseph and Andrea are co-authors of ´Coaching with NLP - How to become a master coach´ published by Thorsons.
JOSEPH O'CONNOR is one of the best known and respected trainers of coaching and NLP in the world. He has taught in North and South America, Hong Kong and Singapore, (where he was awarded the medal of the National Community Leadership Institute), New Zealand and many European Countries. Joseph has been a visiting member of the faculty for NLP University in Santa Cruz, California.
Joseph has worked with many companies as a trainer and consultant, including Citibank, BA, HP Invent, and the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) in Vienna, consulting on Industrial co-operation projects in developing countries.
He is the author of seventeen books translated into twenty five languages, including many of the best selling and most respected books on NLP, systems thinking and coaching. He was the first author outside the United States to write an NLP book. His book, ´Introducing NLP´ has been used for over ten years as the basic reference book for NLP study and has sold over 100,000 copies.
Joseph is co-founder of the ICC. He lived in the UK for many years and now lives in Brazil.

ICC Certification trainings are organized in four specialization levels.

The Business Track allows you to you to use the best and most effective coaching skills in Business contexts with individuals , Teams and high level Executives.
Managers, Executives, Consultants will benefit from this Coaching skills even not working as a Coach.
The Life track focus in Life balance issues, fully present in Executives and Managers due to unbalanced personal and professional life. These skills are key for Executive Coaches.
ICC Corporate Coach Certification
An ICC Corporate Coach is a specialist in Business coaching, both for individual managers and also business teams.

ICC Executive Coach certification
The advanced certificate of ICC executive coaching will be given to those coaches that successfully complete all of the following:

About ICC Training Programs and Certification
All ICC courses are structured in three phases:
- Training, planning and preparation
Participants works on planning and setting their goals for the course, including: self-assesment questionnaires, doing book reviews and planning the learning experience.
- Training course
This is the Training course itself required for Certification. Participants develop their skills learning key Coaching concepts and practicing coaching every day.
- Certification tasks after training
Those participants who want to become a Certified Coach needs to deliver all certification Tasks. Each course has a set of specific tasks to be accomplished, including: Book reviews, Self-Coaching projects, Self-assesment and conceptual integration tests, Coaching projects with Clients.

Lambent Coaching MethodologyThe Lambent International Coaching Certification Training is the ICC level one training course.

ICC offers a Virtual Training Campus to support students during all these phases until they become certified.
Please note: The completion of a course does not in itself guarantee certification. The certificates are awarded for coaching skills and development. They are not attendance certificates.
The ICC reserves the right to change or substitute the trainers in any course if necessary. Any changes do not invalidate previous programs.
The ICC accepts all students, regardless of creed, colour, sexual orientation, cultural background or ethnic origin, and it reserves the right to refuse students who display unethical behaviour, disrupt the training, or whose mental/emotional health might impair their own, or other's learning process.
Recognition of any Coaching certificates issued by the ICC explicitly means that the certified coach respects and follows the Standards and Ethics of the ICC. In the event that it is proved that the coach is in breach of these Standards and Ethics, their certificate is automatically cancelled.
